Easter 2015

We had a lot of fun this Easter having a toddler in the house! Jayne woke up and we brought her to the living room to show her what the Easter Bunny had brought her.

She obviously loves her suckers :) and liked to shake the eggs to see if there was anything inside.

When we first tried to put her in the wagon she wasn't too sure...

But after a lap around the room she didn't want to get out!

She even stayed in the wagon to drink her milk and watch a show while mom and dad cooked breakfast. She loves her wagon!

Here's our little mini with her basket...

...just a (little) bit bigger than last year. Stay my baby forever Jayne!

Jayne loved cuddling her stuffed bunny

Modeling her new "shooooos"

After breakfast we did an egg hunt for Jayne. Honestly, Phil has been doing mini-egg hunts with her since March so she knew what to do! She was so excited to fill her bucket with "aiiiiigs"

Afterwards she came inside to check out her stash...

...but just a couple minutes later she was at the door asking for another hunt!

So we threw the eggs back out on the lawn and she was in heaven (this happened a few times during the day actually!) Jayne didn't even care if there was anything inside the eggs, she just loved gathering them in her bucket. Pure joy, I tell you, pure joy.

And that wraps up our Easter morning/day this year! More weekend fun to come in another post!
Happy Easter!

  1. She has grown up so much since last year! That's why we have more babies, so that our older ones are allowed to grow up ;) That made me smile hearing how Phil has been doing mini-egg hunts in the lead up to Easter, sounds like something he would do.
I just finished an Easter post too, great minds think alike!
