We visited the zoo with my mom and sisters mid-April and Jayne LOVED it! She is so good at making animal noises and pointing out animals in books, saying their name and then sound, so she was in heaven.
Seeing a live lion vs. a book lion was no different. "Lyyyyyy", "RAAAAAH!"
"RAAAAH, RAAAAAAH"
It was a perfect day-not too hot and not too cold. It was so nice and Jayne loved walking around, being outside and exploring everything. One of her favorites was this giant hollow log. She went back-and-forth, back-and-forth as long as we let her! We had to tell her that was were going to see some really cool bears to get her to leave her precious log :)
Funnily enough she was so excited about the "waaaaaaa" (water) in all the tanks even though she couldn't see any animals in some of them.
She made a cute little friend at one of the animal exhibits. They shared their water excitement, touched hands and looked back at mom & dad to show them their new friend.
Jayne's next best friend was this otter statue. She loved playing with it, holding its hands, kissing it, hugging it...you name it! She would look at us and tell us "cue, cuuuuue" (cute)
It was a great visit to the zoo with our little animal lover. We had a lot of fun showing her all the animals!
