Halloween was a lot of fun this year. We started off the season by carving pumpkins. Jocelyn joined in on our carving fun this year. She did Boo, I did the minion and Phil did Mater.
Jayne was excited to wear her super "bwooo" (blue) dress every time we put it on. She got to wear it a few times, for Phil's work party, to trick-or-treat at the Riverwoods and on actual Halloween. When we went to Phil's work, its on BYU campus so Jayne got so many adoring looks from students and faculty as she walked around. She loved telling us she had an "S-dress, wike daddy's S-shirt".
We went with the whole "super" theme this year with both girls being super girls. I mean, who wouldn't want to put their little baby girl in this cute tutu outfit!? She is soooooo cute!
My super girlies!
Phil and I joined in on the fun as Clark Kent and Lois Lane. Jayne liked matching "daddy's S-shirt"
It was fun to take Jayne trick-or-treating because she actually comprehended what was going on this year. Poor little thing was pretty sick and worn out but she just asked us to carry her between houses and would still say "trick-or-treat" and then "anudder house" after she'd received her treats. :) She lasted a fair bit making it through the trunk-or-treat and my parent's neighborhood. She got quite the loot for being a sick little girl. Halloween was definitely more fun this year with a kid who understood it all and was excited. Kids make holidays so much fun!
