Lovin' life as an Australian

Last Saturday Phil took me on a fun date to the city and to catch the ferry to Manly beach.  

We walked from the bus stop through the city to get to the botanical gardens. 

I loved the city!

  

The architecture is amazing and old fashioned...just what I love.  I just kept looking all around while walking down the streets.  It was breath-taking!  I loved everything about the city.

We walked through the botanical gardens and had a picnic at a spot looking out at the bay.

Then we headed for the wharf and stopped at the Opera House on the way.  The whole time it was hard for me to remember that I'm not on vacation, I live here!

Then we caught the ferry to the beach and had a nice time there.  We walked around to the shops and sat in the warm sand.  It was so much fun and I'm so lucky to be able to live here.

I told Phil we must go back to the city just so we can walk around and observe again.  There were many amazing buildings I want to explore.  

I can't wait!
