That's a wrap

10:00am.
Today I've already accomplished: feeling like I was swallowing a spiky cannon ball, calling in sick to work, sending the hubs off to work, going to the doctor, got me some meds, and I'm back here.
In my bed.  Where I plan to spend the remainder of the day.  Now it's just waiting for the hubs to come home so I can watch my Grey's Anatmoy. (shhh...I'm only on season 3!)   Serves me right for dragging him into the show eh?
Isn't being sick so fun?
Just as fun as a nice iced chocolate from Gloria Jeans.
(non-aussies don't know what you're missing)
I'd be sick any day if it meant an iced chocolate- or maybe I'm just saying that now that the meds have kicked in.  Ha, that's probably it.

I'm not usually one for the doc, but Phil told me to go. It's free.  Yay Medicare.  Plus I was up early enough that I waited a total of 5 minutes.  Yes, I just said the doctors office and 5 minutes in the same sentence.  It happened.  To me. Today.
So here I am, munching on Panadol with my Gloria Jeans after 5 minutes in the docs office...this is a good (sick) day.

And guess what?  Photos!  Just what you wanted!  I have a few photos left of the fam's visit down under.  Sometimes I just think to myself, "Were they really here?"  But yes, they were, and it was super duper.

Here's a couple photos from our wander around the City.
This one's in the Queen Victoria Building.  This tree continues down another 3 levels...it's massive!

These ducks were probably the best thing ever.  They marched while quacking the Nutcracker March.  We may or may not have just lined them all up and pushed the button on their hand to set them off all at once...crazy Americans!

Here's Dad and Jocey outside St. Mary's Cathederal.  I could probably just stare at that building for an hour...or two...or three...

Jocey got to see Santa during our Christmas Light excursion.  He was just chillin in his sleigh in front of one of the homes.  Yes people, they go ALL out here!

Phil taught Braden to shave his little beard.  Braden had never shaved with an actual razor before...

Jocey was extra excited about this street!

And now I leave you with the Hamster Dance, courtesy of Braden, who made it up during our long car rides around Australia.  By the end of the trip, the whole family was doing it.  It's a workout!  Rocking out to the Hamster Dance, yes that is us.

Oh Perucca fam.  You are the best. Come back soon!
That's a wrap!

  1. I feel like a stalker commenting on this only an hour after you posted it, but hey I'm the 2nd person... which means Phil is the stalker ;)
Get better soon Kaylee.... or not? No work+ice chocolate+meds+fav tv shows aren't too bad, so maybe you want to stay sick a bit longer. Miss you guys!
