Jayne - 9 months

 Little Miss J is not looking so little anymore! Its hard to believe that she's 9 months old. She's spent more time in this world now than she did in my tummy...time flies!

Jayne's 9 month stats

• Certainly has her own little personality showing more and more every day. She's a clever little girl!
• Learning signs for milk, more, all done, eat/food. She's successfully signed milk and all done. Its so cute to see. We're still working on the others.
• Definitely recognizes the words "milk" and "cracker". If we say milk, she'll usually make the sign and it better be coming soon! Cracker always puts a grin on her face. She loves to munch on her crackers.
• Cut a new tooth on the top middle-and the other one is on its way. Its cute to see her take little bites of her crackers with her little chompers.
• Plays with Koda. He'll let her grab his ears, face, paws, tail-you name it. We put her on the ground and she often beelines it for Koda. They're best friends.
• Went swimming for the first time. She loved it- until she got a little chilly, or we tried to put a life jacket on her. The life jackets squeeze her cheeks haha! We also took her on  some kiddie water slides and even one bigger one. She enjoyed both and gave us smiles at the end.
• Getting the hang of the crawling motion. Instead of just pulling with her arms and pushing on her toes, her legs actually move by bring her knees up, alternating sides. Let's just say she's QUICK! We love watching her go!
• Mimicks sounds we make. Its a game and she'll blow after we blow, do a goofy laugh when we laugh and cough when we cough.
• Took her first ride on the boat. She napped for the first bit and then blew raspberries and enjoyed the rest of the ride. 
• Loves walks and "chills" in the stroller-meaning she always puts her feet up on the cup holder bar in front of her. We joke that she's just really good at taking it easy!
• Talking a lot! She babbles including dada and mama but we don't think she's associated it with anyone at all.
