It was so much fun to participate in BYU graduation a couple weeks back. Even though I finished in December I wanted to walk and experience all graduation had to offer. I both participated in commencement & convocation. Commencement was unforgettable. The second I walked in the Marriott Center the organ started playing Pomp and Circumstance and as I looked up at all the people standing for graduates I felt so amazing and accomplished. When we had the opportunity to stand and applaud all those who supported us throughout our degree and I couldn't help but feel so happy to have such wonderful and supportive people around me in my life. Then the next day I participated in convocation in my brother's college (Fine Arts). We spent the day taking photos with family, walking across the stage and having a celebration dinner.
I was on an emotional high those two days. It was finally real. I graduated from college and was celebrating that accomplishment. I did it. I'll always have fond memories of my time at BYU. It's a little bittersweet to think that I'm not a BYU student anymore, but I'll always be a BYU Cougar!
Thanks Mom & Dad for motivating me to get a higher education.
My amazing hubs who supported me in finishing what I started.
