Our trip started on a Saturday- Phil, Jayne and I arrived and settled in that night and then early Sunday morning Phil went to the airport to pick up these beauties
...and Dad Bennallack too :) We hung out in our room together and introduced Jayne to Rachael and Grandad for the first time, and a re-introduction for Grandma. Jayne got to open some birthday presents from Grandma and Grandad and Aunty Joanne. She loved ripping the paper, and her soft coat (she thought it was a blanket!)

We visited Target that night to pick up some essentials for our upcoming week of fun!
Monday morning our fun started as we headed out for a day at Disneyland/California Adventure. The weather was perfect and we were all excited to be together!
We had park hopper passes so we decided to start off at California Adventure.
We loved the Toy Story ride, Tower of Terror, Soarin' over California and Jayne loved the merry-go-round. She was so happy as we went round and round!
Jayne was so good. She happily hung out in her stroller, just taking in her surroundings, going on a few rides and catching a couple naps.
After spending some time in California Adventure we made our way over to Disneyland.
More rides and fun in Disneyland followed plus some quality time between Jayne and her international grandparents.
We loved the Haunted Mansion Holiday...a fun new spin on things for this time of year!
For the night we headed back to California Adventure to see the World of Color show. We had fast passes so we got an amazing spot! We had fun hanging out waiting for the show to start.
World of Color is one of my most favorite things...ever. Its so magical. I could watch it over and over again!
After the show we made our way back out of the park via Cars Land, which was virtually empty as the park was closing. We meandered around Radiator Springs Main Street. They've done really well in Cars Land-it felt like we'd walked right into the movie!
We headed back to the hotel very tired but ready for day 2!

ReplyDeleteHow fun!! That is so sweet that she got to meet her aunt and grandpa. What a great reunion it must have been with Grandma! I bet his family misses Jayne so much!
