We took a little break from Disneyland and visited Universal Studios Hollywood for a day. It was hot (which was perfect for water rides!) but the crowds were small and we got to see some of their Halloween decor. Plus, we could see where they're building Harry Potter World! Can't wait for that addition!
Waiting in line for Jurassic Park...still can't get over how soaked they all were when they came back! :)
Near Jurassic park they had a little playground that was perfect for Jayne...not much else at Universal is for younger kids, but at least we had this!
Jayne watches Curious George in the mornings so she was happy to see her friend!
There was one little ride in the Despicable Me! portion of the park that Jayne got to ride on-similar to the Dumbo ride at Disneyland. She liked moving the joystick to make us go up and down.
(she had to sit on the inside, but she's there!)
There was also a balloon animal maker near the ride-Jayne was a big fan!
We saw the Water World show-lots of action and explosions
It kept Jayne's interest some of the time...
Of course we did the "world famous" back lot tour to finish off our day!
After hitting all the rides and seeing the shows, we headed home for a good night's rest!
